Ritter Center is currently recruiting for a Client Services Receptionist, Pantry.
This full-time, non-exempt position reports to the Facilities and Client Services Manager.
This role is based in San Rafael, CA, operating out of our Administrative Offices.

Position Description:
Role is 100% on-site and located in SAN RAFAEL, MARIN COUNTY, NORTHERN CA.
The Client Services Receptionist, Pantry, is the first point of contact for clients and visitors to Ritter Center.
The Receptionist creates and maintains a welcoming atmosphere while developing clear communications with clients, staff members, volunteers, donors, agency partners, and members of the community.
Familiarity and comfort with the homeless and low-income population, plus excellent customer service, is essential in this role.
The Receptionist possesses a strong knowledge of Ritter services, providing appropriate information to clients/donors/other stakeholders and facilitating the start of the clients' intake process.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Greet visitors and clients, answer phones, transfer calls, and provide information and referrals as needed in a welcoming manner Manage multiple tasks while supporting clients with complex and sometimes disruptive behaviors Coordinate client intake process and related communications Addressing phone inquiries and voicemail daily, maintaining volunteer documentation, updating client logs for special programs, and providing Administrative support as requested Professionally manage volunteers to ensure smooth service delivery by training, mentoring, directing, and assisting them
Qualifications:
Ritter Center requires compliance with being able to produce a negative TB test prior to the start of employment, as well as being fully vaccinated against COVID19 (unless applying for an exemption) per the August 5th State Public Order for Healthcare Facilities, providers, and employees Strong customer service skills Experienced volunteer manager Resourceful researcher and informational resource of individual community services and partner agencies and Ritter Ability to work in a reception area with frequent interruptions while responding to a high volume of client and staff needs and requests Bilingual fluency in English/Spanish required RITTER'S BENEFIT PACKAGES:
