We have an immediate opening for a full-time Retail Sales Associate in our hardware & tool department.
Our ideal candidate for the Retail Sales Associate would have knowledge and experience with hand and power tools, general hardware and retail customer service experience and thrives in a busy environment.
Although experience is preferred we are willing to train the right person with related skills and/or the interest and aptitude and is committed and willing to learn.
Job responsibilities include:
Counter sales using a basic computer system Assisting customers on the floor with product locations and information Answering busy phones at the counter Stocking and relocating merchandise Providing customers with assistance Every Jackson's associate plays an important role in maintaining our culture of employee ownership.
Our high standards for excellent customer service and product knowledge are well known, appreciated and expected in the community.
We value the contributions of every associate and are looking for an addition to the Jackson's team who is upbeat and works well on a team.
Jackson's hours Mon - Fri 6:
00am - 6:
00pm & Sat 7:

00pm.
Availability on Saturdays is a must.
Requirements:
Ability to stand and move for a majority of the day Ability to lift medium to heavy weight materials up to of 25 - 60 lbs.
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays Attention to detail in processing sales, cash handling, following procedure Proficiency in written and verbal communications Basic computer skills Benefits/Perks:
