Must be available to work a wide range of hours, including overnights.
On Call 24/, Readily available by phone for any afterhours emergencies.
QUALIFICATION Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Will also consider 3 years of progressive experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Previous experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities Pass background check A vehicle in documented good working order with Valid Driver's License Pass CACS Fleet Management Training Up to date CPR certification Covid 19 Vaccination Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required TASKS Personnel Support and supervise the Supported Living Coordinators Assist when needed with personnel issues, participant challenges, parents, etc.
Oversee staff scheduling and assist coordinators in developing staff schedules Review and approve timecards, mileage sheets and reimbursements in time & attendance system Review staff evaluations with coordinators Coordinate with individual coordinators in training for new support professionals.
Plan, prepare and present supported living services DSP's workshops Promote ongoing education of DSP emphasizing best practices Prepare contracts for Direct Support Professionals Conduct evaluations of coordinators at 3,6 and 12 months of employment and annually thereafter and determine merit increases Approve termination of all staff Initial and annual personnel requirements with Human Resources Coverage of coordinators during leaves Assist colleagues when work load necessitates Oversee ongoing Direct Support Professional's recognition Supports Work with coordinators and Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to ensure the participants access to the best life possible as dictated by the ISP.
Work with coordinators to promote good judgment in a safe and healthy environment for the people they support Develop relationships with the participants Maintain positive and professional relationships with family members, regional centers, circles of support and related professionals Attend monthly participant staff meetings Attend IHSS meetings, as necessary Attend Person-Centered Planning Meetings Attend individual support plan meetings, review and update support plans Help to access generic supports and community resources Administrative Participate as a member of the management team in weekly meetings Help with administration of and access to generic supports and community resources (IHSS, Sec.
8, Medi-Cal Redetermination) Prepare reports and attend participants qtrly and annual reviews Prepare/submit participant incident reports within 24 hours of incident Assure support cost remain within budget Coordinate weekly/monthly staff meetings to promote communication and team work Ability to formulate a plan under pressure and initiative to bring it to completion Participate in continuing education Actively participate in CACS fundraising efforts Report directly to the Executive Director Participant in Staff Appreciation and Holiday Parties.
